Lothar and The Hand People

Lothar was the name given to the Theremin in the band, which i think Pere Ubu now owns.

'Lothar and the Hand People was a late-1960s psychedelic rock band known for its spacey music and pioneering use of the theremin[1] and Moog modular sy...nthesizer.[2]
The band was notable for being "the first rockers to tour and record
using synthesizers, thereby inspiring the generation of electronic
music-makers who immediately followed them."[3] Formed in Denver in 1965, Lothar and the Hand People relocated to New York in 1966. The band played gigs with groups such as The Byrds, Grateful Dead, Canned Heat, The Lovin' Spoonful and Chambers Brothers; the band jammed with Jimi Hendrix.'

The Six Finger Satellite Machine Cuisine Companion Cassette

i want this. this is one of my favorite records. in case You didn't know, Six Finger Satellite pretended to be a grunge band, and made a fake demo and sent it in to SubPop at the height of the Seattle hype escapade. SubPop liked it so much they signed SFS and put out their demo as a record. Only SFS were not a grunge b...and. So when it came time to make their next record, they busted out the Goods. Like Devo on a bad mushroom trip or Kraftwerk in hell. Machine Cuisine is a 10" record full of awesome. One of My favorites. they just put out a cassette of some of the material that was unreleased from this album. Recorded by Steve Albini, son. this is teh superawesome

DISNEY'S SUPER STRANGE 1995 UFO PSY-OP

http://www.personalgrowthcourses.net/video/ufos_disney_alien_encounters_video

I remember this, the sad part is when all was said and done, it was actually an ad for their new 'Alien Abduction' Ride at Disney Land. some stunning footage, and disclosure by Clifford Stone, mixed with this ad for 'New Tomorrowland' is just freaking strange. Bluebeam indeed, I remember watching this and going what the hell? and then yeah, it was never shown again. i don't know anyone else who saw it. i was flipping out. i still am i guess, haa. this is the quote that got Me; "Disney's top engineers have designed a way to prepare humans for their INEVITABLE ALIEN ENCOUNTER" WTF?????? WITH dISNEY'S TIES to the Military Industrial Complex, one has to wonder what the hell this was,,, WATCH IT!
